At The Coffee Shop Bakewell we take as much care over our snacks and puddings as we do over our coffee.

Our bread is freshly baked in Bakewell and our milk and cream all comes from Peak District dairies. Oh, and not forgetting our Original Bakewell Puddings. All the meat used in the cafe menu is British Farm Assured and even our soups are award winners.

We cater for vegetarians and if you have other dietary needs please ask; we’ll do everything we can to make sure you can enjoy our food. We won’t leave the children out either, we’ll happily serve children’s portions from the menu wherever we can.

As well as our coffee menu we serve a range of teas and cold drinks including freshly made smoothies which are a real favourite.
We change the menu throughout the year and have a Daily Specials Board but the menus include a range of:

Sandwiches
Freshly made sandwiches and toasties served with homemade coleslaw, fresh salad and crisps.

Breakfast Sandwiches
Get your day off to the right start with a freshly cooked bacon or sausage sandwich served on freshly baked bread from our local bakery.

Paninis
A range of Italian-style paninis with a choice of fillings made to order.

Jacket Potatoes
Piping hot from our potato oven, topped off with the filling of your choice.

Derbyshire Oatcakes
A local favourite which can be served with sweet or savoury fillings.

Soups
Lots of choice but all award winning and served with freshly baked bread.

Puddings and Cakes

As well as the Original Bakewell Puddings, we always have a range of delicious cakes to go with your coffee or finish of lunch with a flourish with a slice of Gâteau.

During the chillier months we make sure we have some winter warmers for you on our hot puddings menu.
